with a public talk at 7:00 pm.

The Benevolence Gallery brings together the finest works of some of China's leading young artists. This collection was created specifically for the Right to Peace events at the United Nations on September 21.

For more about UN Peace Day, and the role Hawaii played this year in New York, see "The Right to Peace."

More than 15 original pieces, assembled by La Vie Art Salon of Beijing, were part of the final events at the United Nations Chapel.

The vision, skill, and free spirit expressed by these young artists demonstrates how modern China participates in an international culture of peace.

Several outstanding young artists traveled to New York to support United Nations International Peace Day, and are now extending their tour to Honolulu before returning to Beijing this weekend.

This exhibition is dedicated to the memory of China's peacemaker, Zhou Enlai, who was a leading supporter of the arts.
