Saint Louis School "Mathletes" Capture Second Consecutive State Math Bowl Championship
On Saturday, May 7th at BYU Hawaii, three Saint Louis School Math team members (Patrick Ma '11, Byung Hee Chung '12 and Dong Duk Huh '12) competed in the annual State Math Bowl Championship. The team, led by captain Byung Hee Chung, finished first in "A" Division out of 9 schools and claimed the Math Bowl trophy for the second consecutive year. The Saint Louis Math team finished first in the Newton Division of the Oahu Math League last month.

"I am extremely proud of these young men and the level of effort they put forth to prepare for this event. With finals rapidly approaching, my guys also had to take the AP exams in addition to the up to 12 hours a week preparation for this competition" said Math teacher and team coach, Mr. Sam Sea.
