‘Goodwill Goes GLAM!' in 2012

Benefit event enlists help of Dr. Nancie Caraway and local fashion industry

Goodwill Goes GLAM!
A fashion marketplace and talent showcase, including a gala dinner, fashion show, after party and three sales days

Neal S. Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall

Why:
The event combines an unprecedented marketplace of more than 70,000 reusable treasures with interactive daily activities that showcase job talent and "green" career pathways specific to Hawaii's fashion, retail and style industries.

Ticket and retail proceeds will benefit Goodwill's job placement and skill building programs in Hawaii and enhance current scholarships and stipends to help people with employment barriers reach their full potential and become self-sufficient.

Tickets:
This four-day event takes place at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. To launch the week, there will be an exclusive Goodwill GALA & VIP Pre-sale on August 23, 2012. This includes a Welcome Reception, Fashion Show and first access to the Pre-sale featuring more than 50,000 treasures and bargains. This is followed by the Goodwill GLAM! Sale - open to the public from August 24-26, 2012.

Be one of the first to register for a Fast Pass. There are a limited amount of Fast Passes so, be sure to have your friends, family and colleagues sign up on our Fast Pass waiting list at www.higoodwill.org/fastpass. Please ask them to indicate in the applicable space provided that they were referred by me. All proceeds benefit Goodwill s mission.

Standard door tickets ($4) Goodwill GLAM! Sale - Friday, Saturday & Sunday, August 24-26, 2012 10:00am 6:00pm (one ticket per day)
Get $2 off your standard door ticket, coupons are located at participating 76 gas stations and 7-Eleven locations beginning July 15, 2012. Discounts for Kama aina Rewards members, seniors, military and students will be available. Tickets will be sold at the Blaisdell box office during the Goodwill GLAM Sale days. To get more information about discounted tickets, visit a Goodwill store on Oahu starting July 2, 2012.

Goodwill's mission is to help people with employment barriers to reach their full potential and become self-sufficient through job placement and job skills development. In 2010, Goodwill helped more than 13,000 people in Hawaii through its CARF-accredited education, employment and career development programs, and aided 1,667 people in finding employment in the local community. Key target communities include the economically disadvantaged, Pacific Islander immigrants, individuals with criminal histories, at-risk youth and the developmentally disabled.
