APRIL 2016 NEWSLETTER

PROGRAMS @ KAIMUKI PUBLIC LIBRARY

NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK

Kaimuki Public Library will observe National Library Week (NLW) from April 10 through 15. First observed in 1958, NLW "is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation's libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support." †

The theme this year is "Libraries Transform." Find out how your library is transforming and how it can transform your life by exploring the library's resources and services! It's not just books, CDs, and DVDs--don't forget about our public computers, free wireless, HSPLS Mobile netbook computers, e-books, online e-learning resources, and more!

And continue celebrating NLW with Dr. Margaret Read MacDonald's special performance, Fat Cats, Magical Roosters, And Pesky Fairies on Sunday, April 24 (see below)!
