Marumoto Thanks Governor For A Holiday Gift -- Release Of Leahi Hospital Funds  Representative Barbara Marumoto (R) District 19 Office 808-586-6310 View Profile By Michele Van Hessen Representative Barbara Marumoto (R-19th District 19 Waialae Iki, Kalani Valley, Waialae Nui, Diamond Head and Kahala.) is celebrating release of $1,216,490 by Governor Linda Lingle for necessary repairs at the Leahi Hospital campus.  ""The money is a welcome holiday gift to the patients and Honolulu residents who require the much-needed services of Leahi," said Marumoto. The Hospital provides long term care residential and respite care in addition to clinical research and drug programs." Two years ago I was able to secure appropriations for re-roofing and new elevators," said Marumoto. "The new roof for the Atherton Building will better protect the hospital system's administrative staff and the UH school of medicine clinical research offices from leaks."
