VIEW 2011 KAIMUKI CHRISTMAS PARADE AND TREE LIGHTING DETAILS HERE
Join residents at the Kaimuki Christmas Parade sponsored by the Kaimuki Business and Professional Association along Waialae Avenue. For more information call (808) 733-7350.
 Starting at 6pm from St. Louis School, 50 units (2,000 people) will be marching up Waialae Avenue, including Mayor Hannemann, 7 marching bands, beauty queens and Grand Marshall Jack Dick, who has been the parade's Santa for a couple of decades. The parade ends on Koko Head Avenue where you can see the tree of lights above the fire station.
This is the 60th year that KBPA has sponsored and organized the parade. Thank you to our major sponsor, First Hawaiian Bank, and VIP sponsors, Royal Adventure Travel, Ng & Niebling, Anne Matsushima OD Inc, Central Pacific Bank, and the Honolulu Board of Realtors. Funds are still needed to cover expenses and you can send your donation to KBPA, PO Box 10187, Honolulu 96816.
 HOW TO PARTICIPATE
KBPA's parade committee is gearing up for the December 7th 60th annual parade, starting at 6pm. Last year we had 2,000 people in the parade, including the Mayor and several beauty queens. We again need your financial support. Gold level sponsors at $250 and up will get you 4 tickets to the VIP viewing area, Silver lever at $125 comes with 2 tickets to the VIP area. The VIP viewing area is limited, so send your donation early to: KBPA, PO Box 10187, Honolulu, HI 96816. Call Jeff at 732-8877 for information about the parade. |
