2012 Adventures for the Family:

For toddlers and their parents. Visit the animals
with your toddler and create a special animal craft. Snacks are

ZOOPER BIRTHDAY PARTIES
For groups of 20 to 45: The fee includes a party
facilitator, cake, juice, ice cream, a craft, and a guided tour. Choose one of

VACATION ADVENTURES: DAY CAMP
For children ages 6-11 years old. Wild Adventures await at the Honolulu Zoo! Spend a week on Safari with us learning about animals, hearing insights from zookeepers, creating animal arts & crafts, and playing lawn games! Children must have completed Kindergarten to participate in this program.

PRE-VACATION ADVENTURES: FOR YOUNGER DAY
CAMPERS
Ages 4 and 5, designed for children who have not
yet completed Kindergarten. Children will explore the zoo using all their
senses. Keeper talks, games, walking tours, crafts and our biofact
collection will bring the zoo experience to a whole new level for these
youngsters.
June 18-22, June 25-29, July 2-6,
July 9-13, July 16-20, July 23-27 and July 30-Aug 3.

KEIKI ZOOKEEPER: Ages 6-10
Ideal for elementary age students interested in
animals and the environment! Participants will create enrichment for one
of the Zoo’s inhabitants and be led on an educational tour to learn more
about the animal and its habitat. See "Zoo School" article in the

TWILIGHT TOURS
Let us be your guides for a magical evening
adventure as we discover what happens at the Honolulu Zoo when the sun goes down
and the gates close. All are welcome, including families with
strollers.
Held almost every Friday and Saturday Night at the
Zoo! Guests meet at the front of the zoo at 5:15 for check in, payment and
assignment to their knowledgeable and friendly Education guide.

STARGAZING AT THE ZOO
With the
UH Institute of Astronomy
Discover animals that are out of this world, as
well as those that are more down to earth in this exciting education program.
Join us on an evening tour of the zoo in addition to exploring the night sky
above Hawaii.

DINNER SAFARI
Join us for an evening of tours and delicious food
as we explore the Zoo first at twilight and then with red-filter
flashlights. The program begins at 6 pm and ends at 10 pm. The
pre-dinner tour will give you a glimpse of the Zoo, followed by a more thorough
look after dinner.
Dinner is buffet style and includes salad, fruit
salad, rice, chicken, vegetarian pasta, pizza, and cookies. The evening
concludes with camp fire time where we roast marshmallows, make S’mores,
and have the chance to see and touch some animal skulls, skins, feathers and
eggs. This program is geared to those who do not wish to Snooze at the Zoo,
but are looking for a fun evening adventure instead. Dinner Safari is
recommended for adults and families with children ages 4 and up.

SNOOZE IN THE ZOO
For Families:
Discover
who is roaring and who is snoring at night at the Honolulu Zoo! Pizza, tours,
and campfire time with s’mores, plus breakfast and a morning stroll. Pack
up your tent and give us a call!

up
Scouting
and school groups welcome to schedule additional dates.
