Mary Star of the Sea Church and Schools are gearing up to host the stellar 16th annual East Honolulu Food Festival (EHFF) setting the stage for an "out-of-this-world" culinary experience themed "May the 4th be with you". This beloved event invites fans of all things Star Wars to celebrate local cuisine against the backdrop of an intergalactic celebration, all for a charitable cause.

Taking place on May 4th, 2024, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the grounds of Mary Star of the Sea School at 4470 Aliikoa Street, the EHFF is renowned as the biggest festival East Honolulu has to offer, drawing food aficionados and enthusiasts from across the galaxy. Patrons can indulge in limitless tasting portions of Hawaiian culinary delights while supporting the enriching initiatives of the Mary Star of the Sea parish and schools.

Fr. Frankie de Los Reyes SSS, Pastor of Mary Star of the Sea Church and Schools declared, "We are over the moon to bring the community together for this cosmic feast. What's more special than enjoying fantastic food, giving back, and celebrating under the stars?"

EHFF 2024 is prepared to welcome food lovers from across Honolulu and will serve up an unlimited feast provided by more than 20 Hawaii restaurants and purveyors. This year's participants include Café Julia Hawaii at Laniakea, Katsu Sando 808, The Social Honolulu, II Gelato, Nosh, Kamitoku Ramen, and Da Spot Health Foods & Juices, among others. Kai Vodka will be sponsoring an intergalactic bar featuring cosmic cocktails, while Kona Brewing Company caters to beer lovers and there will be a Wine Tent for Vino lovers.

Attendees will savor an array of dishes and beverages in an all-inclusive format. Adult tickets are priced at $95, while Younglings ages 3-13 are $35. Admission for Younglings aged 2 and under is free, making it a family-friendly event. Purchase your tickets at EHFF's Link. Options for Table sponsorships are also available, providing an opportunity for businesses and individuals to contribute to the cause while enjoying a premium experience.

Among the stars, attendees can immerse themselves in lively activities ideal for all age groups. Kids will delight in a dedicated Keiki corner, while adults can groove to live entertainment, partake in the silent auction, or showcase their best costumes in the spirit of the saga.

  Mary, Star of the Sea School was established in 1946 by the Diocese of Honolulu. Situated in Waialae-Kahala, on a spacious 14 acre site, the school consists of an elementary and middle school with grades Kindergarten to 8.
