HONOLULU'S LARGEST "ALL YOU CAN EAT & DRINK" FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL

Honolulu (March 24, 2017) -- Get your grove on and join us at Honolulu's most anticipated food and wine event, "East Honolulu Food Festival." Presented by Mary, Star of the Sea Church and Schools, the Festival will be held on Saturday, April 29th from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on the school grounds (4470 Aliikoa Street). In keeping with this year's theme, "Disco Night," we encourage the public to have fun and dress up in their favorite disco-themed attire and dance to live entertainment provided by Mobile Disco DJ, Kona Winds, and the Shining Star Band featuring Lilia Octubre.

Some of Hawaii's finest Chefs will be serving mouth-watering dishes that the public can sample all evening. Restaurants include: A Cup of Tea, Big City Diner, Café Julia, Da Spot health Foods & Juices, Dave & Buster's, Gourmet Goods and Sekiyas, Il Gelato, JJ's Bistro and French Pastry, Kahala Nui, Kahi's Kitchen, Kakaako Kitchen, Kona Brewing Company, Maile's Thai Bistro, NOSH Hawaii, Panda Express, Ted's Bakery, and many more. For beer, wine and spirit enthusiasts, Young's Market Company and Kona Brewing Company will be providing drinks.

"We are very excited about this year's Festival and anticipate more than 2,000 people to attend," said
Rick Manayan, Event Co-Chair. "We wanted the focus of the Festival to be on family and the Festival brings the community together. What better way of spending an evening sampling fantastic foods, having free games, a Silent Auction including items such as travel/hotel packages, and live music and dancing throughout the evening."

Proceeds from the Food Festival will go to the Mary, Star of the Sea's Homeless Outreach and provides students with scholarship assistance, technology equipment and facility upgrades.
