Kaimuki Public Library - Children's Storytime
Nurture your child with the love of reading by attending a Children's Storytime session! Storytime introduces preschool children to quality literature in an entertaining and enriching atmosphere. It provides the child with an opportunity to learn new words, to be exposed to new concepts, and to interact with new friends in a group experience. Storytime acquaints children with a wide range of library materials and resources, as well as encourages the development of a lifelong love of books and reading.
These 30 to 45-minute programs are recommended for ages 3 and older, unless noted below. All children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Please check with the hosting library to confirm weekly sessions as schedules are subject to change. Programs will not be held on State holidays. Notify the library at least ten days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if other special accommodation is needed.
The mission of the Hawaii State Public Library System is to provide Hawaii's residents, in all walks of life, and at each stage of their lives, with access to education, information, programs and services, and to teach and nurture the love of reading and the habit of life-long learning.
