Beat-Lele Reunites the Beatles in Atherton Studio, November 24

Beat-Lele, Hawaiʻi's own Beatles tribute band, debuts in Hawaiʻi Public Radio's Atherton Studio on November 24. They combine the timeless music of The Beatles with their passion for the ʻukulele and the added percussion of a cajon. With Sonny Aquino as "John," Nolet Quiason as "Paul," Alastar McNeil as "George," and Dennis Muth as "Ringo," each band member sings and performs their respective parts with attention to every detail from the original recordings. Their repertoire spans the career of The Beatles from "Love Me Do" through their later years of "Let It Be" and "Abbey Road," and everything in between.

Reservations may be made online at www.hprtickets.org or by calling the station (955-8821) during regular business hours. Tickets are $25 general, $20 for HPR members, and $15 for students with ID; online service fees apply. The Atherton Studio is located at Hawaiʻi Public Radio, 738 Kāheka Street. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.; music begins at 7:30 p.m.

Beat-Lele recently released their self-titled debut album produced by legendary producer/engineer Dave Tucciarone. They were also honored to have been invited to the 2017 International Beatle Week Festival in Liverpool, England, where they performed ten shows over seven days to thousands of energetic Beatle fans from the world over. This past summer also saw them performing for Roy Sakuma's "Wildest Show in Town" at the Honolulu Zoo and at the Honolulu Ukulele Festival among other local venues.

Over the years, the members of Beat-Lele have individually performed with seasoned musicians in Hawaiʻi, the U.S. mainland, and the Philippines. Up until recently, McNeil and Muth performed at the historic Waikiki Sheraton Princess Kaʻiulani Hotel with the Beatles tribute production of Fourever Fab. McNeil is also a regularly touring member of RAIN! - one of the premier Beatles tribute bands in the world.
