About the artists

Steve Grimes

Maui guitarist/songwriter Steve Grimes has released three albums of original songs: Labor Of Love (2010), The Ocean Road (2016), and Assorted Chocolates (2017). His music is a gumbo of styles, drawing on acoustic ballads, jazz ballads, pop, folk, bossa nova, Celtic, funk, and Americana. In 2012 he won a national songwriting contest for his song "Perfect Stranger." Grimes is also a renowned luthier, having built guitars for George Benson, Steve Miller, Walter Becker, Willie Nelson, and others.

Steve Stusser

After touring for 15 years in numerous rock, pop, funk, and Americana bands, guitarist Steve Stusser decided to take a different course. In 1987 he started one of today's most sought-after high-end custom furniture companies in Seattle: Stusser Woodworks. For the last twenty years, Steve has combined his passion for woodworking with his passion for music, and has risen to the level of virtuoso player.
