Speakers are encouraged to keep their comments under three (3) minutes, and those giving reports are urged to keep their reports under three (3) minutes. Please silence all electronic devices.

Note: The Board may take action on any agenda item. As required by the State Sunshine Law (HRS 92), specific issues not noted on this agenda cannot be voted on, unless added to the agenda. A two-thirds (2/3) vote (8) of this 15-member Board is needed to add an item to the agenda. Items may not be added if they are of major DTS

II. ANNOUNCEMENT
For those wishing to speak who are not already on the agenda, please fill out a “Community Concern” form at the front desk and turn in to the Neighborhood Assistant.

III. SWEAR IN CEREMONY (for Members not already sworn in) – Neighborhood Assistant

IV. ELECTION OF OFFICERS TO SERVE FROM JULY 1, 2019 TO JUNE 30, 2020 [NP 2-14-120(b)]. The officers to be elected are the Chair, one or more Vice Chairs, a Secretary, a Treasurer and any other officers(s) determined to be needed to conduct the board’s business.

V. COMMENTS BY THE CHAIRMAN, (Note: [omit from published version]. Praise for the Neighborhood Board Commission/OIP Swearing in Ceremony Event. Thanks again and Congratulations to outgoing members and incoming “new” members. Introduce new members.)

VI. PUBLIC SAFETY MONTHLY REPORTS - Limited to three (3) minutes each

VII. MEETING DETERMINATION (August 2017 to June 2018)
A. Regular Day/Time/Location - Proposal to meet 2nd Thursday each month at 6:30 p.m. at Ala Wai Club House 2nd Floor. 
B. Recess Schedule - Each Neighborhood Board is allowed up to three (3) recesses per term year. Recesses do not have to be utilized.

VIII. FACILITY RENTAL FEE Proposal to request NCO to pay facility fees for regular board meetings.

IX. VIDEOTAPING OF MONTHLY MEETINGS OR ANNUAL NEWSLETTER. Proposal to have regular monthly meetings videotaped, and for NCO to pay associated fees.

X. RULES OF PARTICIPATION. Proposal to adopt rules of participation, as stated at top of agenda.

XI. STANDING COMMITTEE(S). Proposal to establish Planning & Zoning and Parks & Recreation committees; others, as necessary, to conduct regular board business. For initial committee business: setting Board initiatives/priorities.
