Anything Goes 2022

The age-old tale of Boy-Meets-Girl and the complications which ensue intrigue every audience, and no musical puts it on stage better than ANYTHING GOES. It's an amusing story wrapped around one of Cole Porter's most magical scores - featuring popular tunes such as "Anything Goes," "I Get a Kick Out of You," "Easy to Love," and "All Through the Night."

Nightclub singer/evangelist Reno Sweeney has set sail on the ocean liner S.S. American, headed to England. Her pal Billy Crocker has stowed away to be near his love, Hope Harcourt, but the problem is Hope is engaged. Joining this love triangle are Public Enemy #13, Moonface Martin and his sidekick-in-crime Erma. With the help of some elaborate disguises, tap-dancing sailors and good old-fashioned blackmail, Reno and Martin join forces to help Billy in his quest to win Hope's heart.

About Diamond Head Theatre

Since 1915, Diamond Head Theatre has served as Hawaii's "Broadway of the Pacific." A new theatre is in construction and anticipated to open in 2023 with a capital campaign underway. DHT showcases Hawaii's finest local talent, guest artists, and offers performance arts education. DHT is a local, independent nonprofit organization that relies on community support to present its shows and community programs.
