Free Comic Book Day at 22 Hawai‘i Public Libraries on May 6th, 2023

Free Comic Book Day is coming to public libraries on Oahu, Hawaii Island, Kauai, and Maui! On Saturday, May 6th, visit a participating library and show your HSPLS library card to receive a free comic book, while supplies last. Some comic titles include:

Avenger/X-Men
Baby-Sitter's Little Sistera
Dog Man and the League of Misfits
Investigators: All Tide Up
Spidey and His Amazing Friends
Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures & Avatar Last Airbender
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Oahu Library Appearances

Costumed characters from the Pacific Outpost of the 501st Imperial Legion, Rebel Legion Hawaii, and Costumers Guild of Hawaii will be appearing at selected Oahu libraries on May 6th. Call a participating location for appearance times.

ABOUT KAIMUKI PUBLIC LIBRARY

The mission of the Hawaii State Public Library System is to provide Hawaii's residents, in all walks of life, and at each stage of their lives, with access to education, information, programs and services, and to teach and nurture the love of reading and the habit of life-long learning.

Library Cards
You may apply for a library card at any Hawaii public library. The initial card is FREE for Hawaii residents. Cards are also free for military personnel and their dependents with a copy of orders. The resident card replacement fee is $5.00. Resident library cards must be renewed every five years. There is no charge for the renewal.
