PĀLOLO NEIGHBORHOOD BOARD TO HOST COMMUNITY EVENT TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT PARK INEQUALITIES

PĀLOLO - The Pālolo Neighborhood Board will be hosting a community event at the Pālolo Valley District Park between 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturday, January 27th, in an effort to raise public awareness about facility inequalities. Due to deterioration, the outdoor court lighting at the Pālolo Valley District Park was removed 15 years ago and never replaced. The event will feature free learn-to-play pickleball clinics hosted by the Oʻahu Pickleball Association and education booths hosted by the Department of Parks and Recreation, Division of Urban Forestry, Honolulu Fire Department, and Police Activities League.
