A fast-paced, funny farce that takes place in an isolated mansion in the middle of a snowstorm, and pokes fun at the more ridiculous aspects of "show biz" as well as the corny thrillers of Hollywood's heyday.
The plot centers around a backers' audition for a Broadway musical that's being held at an upstate New York home. A group of performers and producers find themselves cut off from the outside world with only a deranged murderer (the Stage Door Slasher) for company! Complete with secret passages and a bizarre cast of characters, this brilliantly plotted play has become a modern comedy classic.

Patrons who use a wheelchair are permitted to purchase one additional ticket for their companion. Wheelchair and companion seating are sold at the box office by calling 808-733-0274. Please be sure to inform the box office of your seating needs when purchasing a ticket. The theatre has a lift from the back parking lot to the main entrance.

Since 1915, Diamond Head Theatre has served as Hawaii's "Broadway of the Pacific." A new theatre is in construction and anticipated to open in 2023 with a capital campaign underway. DHT showcases Hawaii's finest local talent, guest artists, and offers performance arts education.
