Join us for our 45th annual Halloween Costume Contest on Friday, October 25. 2024. Huge Mahalo to our partner for 45 years, the Department of Parks & Recreation, Waialae Complex!

This is our can't miss event of the year with amazing costumes, family fun and lots of prizes/gift cards from Kahala Mall merchants! Also, each contestant receives a mini backpack of treats! Mahalo to our sponsor: Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Advantage Realty and to our generous merchants!

There is no registration! Participants simply line-up by age groups at their designated assembly time.Look for staff/sign-holders in the theatre wing. Please report to assembly areas at the times listed below. i.e. If you are 2nd/3rd grade, you do not need to show up at the event at 4:30PM, our advice is to get in your age group line a little ahead of your 6:00PM assembly time! Don't be late 🙂

Costumed keiki will walk in front of our panel of judges fronting Center Stage, the 9 prizes for each age group are awarded immediately. Contestants/parents are allowed to leave after their category winners are announced!

Age group/ Location to Line-up/Assembly Time:

Under 1 year old: (behind IL Gelato) at 4:45PM
1 year olds: Line up by Adore Clothing Store at 5:00PM
2 year olds: Line up in Theatre Wing at 5:10PM
3-4 year olds: Line up in Theatre Wing at 5:20PM
Kindergarten & Grade 1: Line up in Theatre Wing at 5:40PM
Family/Groups (portraying a single theme): Line up in Theatre Wing at 5:50PM
Grades 2 & 3: Line up in Theatre Wing at 6:00PM
Grades 4 & 6: Line up in Theatre Wing at 6:15PM
For each group, there are three (3) Category Awards, with 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place (9 winners per age group):

Over 75 prizes -- gift cards, surprises from Kahala Mall merchants, will be awarded!
