2025 Annual Halloween Costume Contest

Join us for our 46th annual Halloween Costume Contest on Friday, October 24, 2025.

Huge Mahalo to our partner for 46 years, the Department of Parks & Recreation, Waialae Complex!

This is our can't miss event of the year with amazing costumes, family fun and lots of prizes/gift cards from Kahala Mall merchants! Also, each contestant receives a mini backpack of treats! Mahalo to our sponsor: REMAX Hawaii and to our generous merchants!

There is no registration! Participants simply line-up by age groups at their designated assembly time. Look for staff/sign-holders in the theatre wing. Please report to assembly areas at the times listed below. i.e. If you are 2nd/3rd grade, you do not need to show up at the event at 4:30PM, our advice is to get in your age group line a little ahead of your 6:00PM assembly time! Don't be late

Costumed keiki will walk in front of our panel of judges fronting Center Stage, the 9 prizes for each age group are awarded immediately. Contestants/parents are allowed to leave after their category winners are announced!

Age group/ Location to Line-up/Assembly Time:

• Under 1 year old: 4:45PM Line up behind IL Gelato
• 1 year olds: 5:00PM Line up by Adore Clothing Store
• 2 year olds: 5:10PM Line up in Theatre Rotunda
• 3-4 year olds: 5:20PM Line up in Theatre Rotunda
• Kindergarten & Grade 1: 5:40PM Line up in Theatre Rotunda
• Family/Groups (portraying a single theme): 5:50PM Line up in Theatre Rotunda
• Grades 2 & 3: 6:00PM Line up in Theatre Rotunda
• Grades 4 -- 6: 6:15PM Line up in Theatre Rotunda

For each age group, there are three (3) Category Awards, with 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place (9 winners per age group):

• Most Original
• Funniest/Cutest
• Judges' Choice

For Family/Groups, there are two (2) Category Awards, with 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th Place:

• Best Theme
• Judges' Choice

Over 75 prizes -- gift cards, surprises from Kahala Mall merchants, will be awarded!

Bring your boo-tiful costumed keiki or simply join us to see the creative costumes and have a scary good time! Hope to see you there!
