World Premiere! A joyful new holiday musical about a scrappy little tree with big dreams.

Freethinking Piney Needlesmith just can't seem to find her place among the rules and traditions of the modern North Pole, where Perfect Christmases are manufactured year after year. But when she discovers a heartbreaking letter from a disillusioned child named Tim, she sets off on a daring adventure to reignite his holiday spirit. Joined by a ragtag crew of North Pole misfits, Piney journeys down the road less traveled--dodging avalanches, bottomless pits, and the relentless Great Inspector Agatha. Together, they learn that a Truly Perfect Christmas can only happen when we band together and embrace the unexpected. Filled with heart, humor, and a dazzling original score, Piney invites audiences of all ages to celebrate the messy, magical moments that make the season bright.

Accessibility Information (wheelchair)

Patrons who use a wheelchair are permitted to purchase one additional ticket for their companion. Wheelchair and companion seating are sold at the box office by calling 808-733-0274. Please be sure to inform the box office of your seating needs when purchasing a ticket. The theatre has a lift from the back parking lot to the main entrance.

About Diamond Head Theatre

Since 1915, Diamond Head Theatre has served as Hawaii's "Broadway of the Pacific." A new theatre is in construction and anticipated to open in 2023 with a capital campaign underway. DHT showcases Hawaii's finest local talent, guest artists, and offers performance arts education. DHT is a local, independent nonprofit organization that relies on community support to present its shows and community programs.
