One of Honolulu's most anticipated food and wine festivals, the "East Honolulu Food Festival" will be held on Saturday, April 27th from 5:30-9:30 p.m. on the spacious school grounds located at 4470 Aliikoa Street. This 14th annual Festival is presented by Mary, Star of the Sea Church and Schools.

Festival guests will be able to sample signature dishes from some of Hawaii top local chefs including Agu Ramen,

Big City Diner, Café Julia, Da Spot Health Foods & Juices, UH West Oahu Culinary Program, Dave & Buster's, Gourmet Goods, Kahala Nui, Kahi's Kitchen, Kakaako Kitchen, Kona Brewing Company, Maile's Thai Bistro,

Max's of Manila, NOSH Hawaii, Panda Express, The Rice Plate, and Win Spuntino. An assortment of delectable homemade gelato, pies, and cheesecakes from IL Gelato, Ted's Bakery, and Uncle Tetsu Japanese Cheesecake will also be featured. Wine, beer, and spirits will be provided by Young's Market Company, Kona Brewing Company, and Stella Artois.

This is a fun-filled family and keiki-friendly event! In keeping with the Festival's theme, "A Starry Night," guests can dance the night away with live entertainment by Kona Winds, Mobile Disco DJ and emcee "Phat Joe." Children of all ages can enjoy free carnival rides, video games, face painting and more. Get something special at the silent auction featuring special travel and vacation packages, sports, jewelry, clothes and specialty items.

"Every year, we look forward to bringing families and visitors from around the island together to experience a food festival that celebrates our unique local cuisine and provides a safe and fun event for the entire family," said Rick Manayan, Event Co-Chair. "The Festival is our biggestundraiser and we're proud to give back to our community and help others in need." All proceeds from the Festival will go to the Mary, Star of the Sea's Homeless Outreach program and provide students with scholarship assistance, technology equipment and facility upgrades.
