Dower - The Best Little Realty in Hawaii
Actually, it's not so little! It was started by Frank J. and Elizabeth L. (Betty) Dower, with a small office and only six agents, and today it resides in an award-winning building in Kaimuki, with over seventy agents.

Dower Realty owes its success to a combination of experience, knowledge, hard work, and vision--bringing years of sound market advice to our clients.

However, the exclusive quality which sets Dower apart is the feeling of "ohana" that pervades every interaction with the company.

The Hawaiiian word "ohana" means family, and whether you are a client, an agent, a staff member or a student, you will be exposed to and embraced by all the goodness that this concept implies.

Loyalty and integrity are integral to all aspects of the Dower experience!
In 1981, Betty Dower, who had just spent ten years as a broker-in-charge with one of Hawaii's largest real estate firms, and Frank Dower, who had been a top producer at the same firm, opened the doors of Dower Realty. With this winning combination, there was only one way to go, and that was up!

In 1984, Dower School of Real Estate was opened, providing instruction in pre-licensing and broker candidate classes, relocating the entire company to the Manoa Marketplace.

This enabled the company to take advantage of increased space and facilities, expanding the company, increasing the agents, and further developing the school's curriculum to include Continuing Education classes also.

Soon thereafter, Dower Realty, Inc. was able to provide services to clients in the area of rental and property management, and to become further involved in commercial real estate.

It is also not uncommon to find several of our agents handling transactions in several different lanuages. We are able to assist those who speak Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, French, and Arabic.

Today, Dower Realty, Inc. makes its home in a gracious Hawaiian-style, architecturally-acclaimed building in Kaimuki. It is a recognized and respected full-service real estate firm in Hawaii.

While other large companies might focus on quotas and sales figures, our bottom line remains service to our clients, and satisfaction in our transactions. It is the "ohana" that binds the company, its agents, and our clients.
