Register for Summer Fun 2026 online!

Registration
Summer Fun is open to keiki (children) six years old before August 1, 2026 and not older than 13 years old by July 24, 2026. Junior Leaders must be 13 years old before August 1, 2026 and no older than 17 years old by July 24, 2026.
Registration for keiki participants will be primarily conducted online, and begin from Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15, 2026 based on geographic park district under the following timetable:

•   District 1 (East Honolulu, Ka Iwi to Waikīkī): May 11 from 5 p.m.

•   District 2 (West Honolulu, Makiki to ‘Aiea): May 12 from 5 p.m.

•   District 3 (Leeward O‘ahu, Waipahū to Kea‘au): May 13 from 5 p.m.

•   District 4 (Windward & North O‘ahu, Makapu’u to Mokulēʻia): May 14 from 5 p.m.

•   District 5 (Central O‘ahu, Pearl City to Whitmore): May 15 from 5 p.m.

Registration for Summer Fun will be online using the pros.hnl.info website!
For those who are unable to sign-up online, accommodations can be made for in-person registration. Walk-in registration will be from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Summer Fun site. A map of the 2026 Summer Fun sites and contact information is provided below.

This interactive map displays the locations of the dozens of Summer Fun sites around O‘ahu, along with contact information and indications of which sites offer Summer Plus. Summer Plus are activities for enrolled keiki provided before and/or after the regular program hours. The exact sites offering Summer Plus for 2026 are being determined, and are expected to be confirmed in late May 2026.
Costs
The cost of this amazingly affordable program remains the same as last year, with funding assistance available. This year’s Summer Fun registration fee is $25.00 per keiki, with an additional activity fee of no more than $100 for participating sites that offer extra-curricular activities such as an excursion to Kualoa Regional Park (pictured). All combined fees will not exceed $125 per keiki.
Additionally, select Summer Fun locations will offer Summer Plus, which provides activities for enrolled keiki before and/or after the regular program hours. This extracurricular program is offered by Kama‘āina Kids or the YMCA for an additional cost. Before care is $8.00 a day and Aftercare is $10.00 a day. The exact sites offering Summer Plus for 2026 are being determined, and will be posted on the above-mentioned Google Map when confirmed. They are expected to be confirmed in late May 2026.
The City is continuing to offer registration and activity fee waivers for qualifying families and neighborhoods through the U.S. Department of Human Services (DHS). Families who receive a DHS waiver must submit the document to their respective park at least two business days prior to the registration date. Photo identification must be provided when redeeming your waiver.
Food Service Program
DPR is privileged to participate in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) in conjunction with Summer Fun.

In accordance with Federal law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), age, disability, and reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity. For more information about a specific program or activity at a specific park or pool, please call the park or pool directly. Park/pool telephone numbers can be found by browsing DPR’s online map at web site bit.ly/OahuParkMap or by looking in the front government section of the local telephone directory under City and County of Honolulu, Department of Parks and Recreation.
Enrichment Classes
Separate seasonal classes and activities, commonly referred to as enrichment classes, will also be offered at parks around O‘ahu this summer! This includes popular classes like learn to swim, basketball, and dancing. Most of these classes are scheduled to begin the first week of June 2026.

Registration for both free and paid classes will be conducted online utilizing the same pros.hnl.info software and geographical park district scheduling with the following timeline:

•   District 1 (East Honolulu, Ka Iwi to Waikīkī): May 18 beginning 5 p.m.

•   District 2 (West Honolulu, Makiki to ‘Aiea)): May 19 beginning 5 p.m.

•   District 3 (Leeward O‘ahu, Waipahū to Kea‘au): May 20 beginning 5 p.m.

•   District 4 (Windward & North O‘ahu, Makapu’u to Mokulēʻia): May 21 beginning 5 p.m.

•   District 5 (Central O‘ahu, Pearl City to Whitmore): May 22 beginning 5 p.m.
For those without access to a computer or internet, walk-in accommodations for registration are available from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the above-mentioned dates. You are also encouraged to call the park location where your class is located to coordinate registration. In 2025, DPR offered 3,552 different classes, programs, and events through our online reservation system, with over 82% of those opportunities completely free! This resulted in 56, 457 individual registrations for these amazing park and garden activities. Join the thousands already part of the DPR ‘ohana, and enjoy a summer in your City parks and gardens!
