*Important Studio Update*
Like so many of you, we have been closely following the COVID-19 situation and trying to learn as much as possible. The safety of our families, employees, volunteers and community is of the utmost importance to us. For the health of our community and in an effort to do our part to help "flatten the curve" we have made the difficult decision to cancel all public Art Explorium programs beginning Sunday, March 15 and at least through March 31. These programs include Open Studio and Workshops.
You can also find helpful updates on COVID-19 at the Centers for Disease Control web site.
Please be safe and we look forward to seeing you again soon when things have settled down, hopefully soon!
Just For Kids: A Comic Exploring the New Coronavirus
NPR recently came out with a helpful comic designed to help keiki learn more about the new Coronavirus. It includes helpful information on what the virus is, who it affects, how to prevent it, and more. Take a look. You can even download a foldable zine version at this link.
Keep Being Creative Over Break!
It looks like many of us will be home more than usual over the coming weeks. We encourage you all to do art projects and to continue to encourage creativity with your ohana. At Art Explorium we have developed numerous art lesson plans which are posted on our website. These lesson plans are organized by year developed and grade level so be sure to check out all of them! The great thing is that they use common items you probably already have around your house and you won't have to purchase lots of art supplies.
Feel free to email us photos of your keiki doing art projects at home and we will happily share them on our social media accounts. Just send your photo to us at email@example.com and we will share with the hashtag #coronacreativity.

Nurturing tomorrow's creative thinkers
Art Explorium provides a fun, safe place where children of all ages have the opportunity and the permission to create freely. We firmly believe that art experiences are an important part of every person's growth and development. So... WE provide the space and materials, YOU provide the ideas and make them happen!
Art Explorium strives to be an eco-friendly organization. Many of the art materials in our studio are items that would normally be thrown in the landfill (old pieces of fabric, used bottle caps, small boxes, magazines, ribbon, etc.). We collect these used materials from our friends and local businesses, and Art Explorium visitors give these items a new life as art.
We offer art classes, birthday parties, and field trips to our studio. We also offer Open Studio time - come on in with your family and dabble in one or all of our art stations which offer activities like painting, sculpting, drawing, making mosaics and more. See you there!
Come on by! During Open Studio time you are free to drop in, use our space and materials and explore the process of creating.
We also offer art classes, birthday parties and field trips to our studio!
Hours and price subject to change without notice.
Ample metered parking is available on the street or in the lot behind our building.
