Saint Louis School Raises Money for Kids Heart Challenge 2021

Saint Louis School students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade celebrate their 4th year in helping to raise funds for Kids Heart Challenge, established by the American Heart Association. Saint Louis School coordinator for Kids Heart Challenge, Ms. Dayle Ho'opai, worked with the American Heart Association to share with students how their participation helps local families.

"Our goal was to raise a total of $4000--$500 per class," shared Ho'opai. With the program launch on January 12 and the collection of donations ending on February 17, Saint Louis School students almost quadrupled this figure by raising a total of $14,926.50.

"Kids Heart Challenge at Saint Louis School culminates with Jumping Day on February 24 for grades Kindergarten through 3 at 12:30 pm, and February 26 at 11:30 am for grades 4 through 5," continued Ho'opai. Jumping Day will take place each day on the Saint Louis School football field. Students will participate in the event physically distant from each other wearing masks to help support the State's efforts in stopping the spread of the Coronavirus.
