Puâ€˜uloa Beach Park closing New Year's Eve due to fireworks complaints
Oâ€˜AHU -- To address community concerns regarding illegal fireworks during holidays at Puâ€˜uloa Beach Park in â€˜Ewa Beach, the park will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2022 until 5 a.m. Sunday, January 1, 2023.
This closure includes all of the park facilities, such as the fields, comfort station, playground, and parking lot.
The park is normally closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Signs will be posted at the park indicating this holiday closure.
We appreciate the understanding of the public and â€˜Ewa Beach residents as we work with the Honolulu Police Department to address these concerns raised by the community.
