Legislative Art Class
Legislators from the House and Senate and their staff experienced hands-on artmaking in two workshops at the Capitol in March. The workshops were sponsored by the SFCA as an opportunity for legislators to engage in artmaking using different parts of the brain for creative problem solving. Representative Sonny Ganaden of House District 30 is an avid printmaker and led the workshops with the Honolulu Printmakers, a nonprofit organization. The SFCA has been providing these art-making experiences for legislators and legislative staff as a part of the annual Art at the Capitol event.
