Sadae Kasaoka
On August 6,1945, Sadae Kasaoka was 12 years old when the United States dropped the atomic bomb, "Little Boy" onto Hiroshima. Sadaeʻs grandmother, elder brother, and sisters survived the bombing. However both her parents passed 2 days later.
Now, Sadae is one of the witnesses for the Hiroshima Peace Culture Foundation (HPCF), an organization that promotes peace, international exchange and understanding between HIroshima and other cities.
