Classical music performances return to the Atherton in July. Whether you're a longtime classical music enthusiast or simply looking to experience extraordinary live music in a unique setting, we invite you to join us for two special evenings of intimate live performances featuring:

On air: An Evening with HPR
Tune in to HPR Hōʻike for conversations from our Members & Friends evening in downtown Hilo. Highlights include a panel discussion on the year-and-a-half of eruptive activity at Kīlauea's summit and its impact on local communities, plus an interview with rising singer and composer Kaniaulono Hāpai.

HPR Hōʻike continues in July with a series of storytelling events from our 2026 Live from the Atherton Storytellers' Series. Take a closer look at the infamous Captain Cook and hear music from celebrated artists like Kainani Kahaunaele and Aunty Nola Nahulu.
