Experience an afternoon of sound, tradition, and experimentation featuring Filipino American electronic artist Luzi Kidlat and award-winning composer and instrumentalist Paul Cosme, culminating in a special closing performance by Hawaiʻi Rondalla. Presented by the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu and the Hawaiʻi State Foundation on Culture and the Arts (SFCA).

FAHM NIGHT
Filipino American History Month (FAHM) celebration at Capitol Modern: the Hawaiʻi State Art Museum. Musical performances by Kaylee Shimizu (The Voice) and Ragamuffs, a fashion and art showcase by Raymund A. Maravilla, a live talk story with Professor Roderick Labrador and actor Dante Basco, and a special dance performance by Tekniqlingz. Explore the Sari-Sari Market by Art+Flea and join Jimmy Tablante for Malikhain na Pagpipinta, a hands-on watercolor painting workshop. Free admission, all ages welcome.

2027 HAWAIʻI REGIONAL SCHOLASTIC STUDENT ART AWARDS COMPETITION
Hawaiʻi students grades 7-12 (ages 13 and up) are invited to enter the 2027 Hawaiʻi Regional Scholastic Student Art Awards competition. Gold Key award winning entries will be displayed at Capitol Modern: the Hawaiʻi State Art Museum. Entry portal is open October 1 - December 12, 2026.
