About Kaimuki Christian Church Trash and Graffiti Outreach
Clean up the Kaimuki neighborhood. This is an opportunity for parents and children to serve Jesus together. Usually, the third Saturday of the month from 8am - 12pm. Lunch will be provided at 12pm. Meet in the garage of the Ekahi House on Mahina Ave.

This is a great way to meet new people and get connected with member for Kaimuki Christian Church and the Kaimuki community.

The Trash and Graffiti Teams descend on the street of downtown Kaimuki armed with paint brushes, rollers, rakes, brooms, trash bags and cleaning supplies to take on the ugly. Volunteers are made up of teams of family members, youth, keiki, life groups and more all giving of their time and effort to help clean up our community.

While the time given is brief the lasting impact to the neighboring businesses and home owners if far reaching. "Who are you and why do you serve?" are often questions from passerby. With a smile and nod the humble servants reply, "We are Love Your Neighbor form Kaimuki Christian Church and we are here to serve you, our neighbors!"

ABOUT KAIMUKI CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Kaimuki Christian Church is a non-denominational Christian Church sharing Jesus' love, acceptance, and forgiveness. We believe that God's people are family and we share our lives together in faith! We have Small Groups for all ages, and we also love reaching out into our community! One way is through our "Love Your Neighbor" Ministry, which helps the elderly, single moms, etc. with household projects such as minor home repairs and painting. Our Seniors Ministry meets every Monday for lunch, crafts, educational sessions and monthly fun field trips. We also provide adult friends to needy children at Lili'uokalani Elementary School, though the Common Grace organization.

Our Mission:
Our mission is to bring glory to God by making disciples who love God passionately and their neighbor as themselves.

Our Kaimuki Christian Church by-laws contain the following information that is helpful in understanding who we are:

Our Confession:
"We believe that Jesus is the Christ, Son of the Living God. We have received and declared Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord, and have been buried with Him in baptism by immersion as taught in the New Testament."

Our Authority:
"We have no creed but Christ and accept the Bible as our only source of authority in matters pertaining to the Church and the Christian life."

Our Oversight:
"The oversight of the congregation is vested in those gifted in teaching and leadership who are designated as elders."
