Special Event - Hawaii Public Radio (HPR) - Kūpaoa Hopes Atherton Concert Leaves Lasting Impression
Kūpaoa, the husband and wife duo of Kellen and Līhau Paik, return to the Atherton Studio on Saturday, August 4. Winner of multiple Hōk awards, the pair is known for their original Hawaiian language songs and their vocal harmony.

Educational - Lyon Arboretum Centennial Hoolaulea
Join us for a community celebration to honor the centennial, 1918-2018, of the Harold L. Lyon Arboretum. About the Pedestrian Law
Section 291C-72(a), Hawaii Revised Statutes, has been amended by the 2005 Legislature and now states that "the driver of a vehicle shall stop and yield the right of way to pedestrian crossing the roadway within a crosswalk when the pedestrian is upon the half of the roadway upon which the vehicle is traveling, or when the pedestrian is approaching so closely from the opposite half of the roadway as to be in danger."

DISNEY'S NEWSIES, a bona-fide Broadway hit, was inspired by the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899. High-energy with non-stop thrills, the musical addresses themes of social injustice and exploitative labor practices, and features a David-versus-Goliath struggle as the young newsboys learn to harness their power.

Honolulu Zoo - The "Wildest Show In Town" Summer Concert Series 2018 Master Page
The "Wildest Show in Town" summer concert series will return to the Honolulu Zoo. The series is ideal for families. Participation fee is $5 per person ages two and over. All participation fee proceeds benefit the Honolulu Zoo Society's conservation education programs.
