A hilarious screwball comedy, NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT is an homage to a host of Jazz Age musicals, which were filled with songs, dances, and outlandish gags---in this musical, it's all set to the superb score ("S'Wonderful", "Fascinating Rhythm", "But Not for Me") of George and Ira Gershwin!

Duke Kahanamoku Challenge at Hilton Hawaiian Village Master Page 2018
The challenge is a fun, community event for both local residents and visitors that features canoe racing and ancient Hawaiian makahiki games.

Community - 7th International Conference on Environmental Future Film Night
Please join the 7ICEF for an open roundtable from 1:30 to 3:00pm, bringing into view the crosscutting and pressing issues now confronting conservation practitioners, policy makers, and conservation scientists working in island worlds. Speakers from Hawai'i, Oceania, and across the globe will address issues confronting islands and their environments followed by an open moderated discussion.

Kaimuki Public Library - YARN LEI WORKSHOP
Learn how to make lei that require no refrigeration—perfect for Mother’s Day, graduation, birthdays and other celebrations! Volunteers from our very own Friends of the Kaimuki Library will demonstrate how to make yarn lei using long lash yarn. Participants will be able to make and take home their own yarn lei.

Tuesday Farmers' Market At Kapiolani Community College
Meet the farmers and food producers of Hawaii's diversified agricultural scene. Select from a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, flowers, beef, aqua cultured seafood, fresh baked breads, hand made pastas, tropical jams and jellies, unique snack foods, honey, baked goods, specialty seasonings and more. A variety of vendors display and sell their products each week.

Education - Friends of Kaimuki Public Library Book & Media Sale
Pop in to the Friends of Kaimuki Public Library's "Book Cellar" bookstore on the ground floor of the library for great bargains on used books, CDs, DVDs and audio books! Proceeds directly benefit Kaimuki Public Library. Most items $1.00 each.
